We are committed to high-quality, innovative education and student support services and pride ourselves on our welcoming, supportive and friendly environment. We never stand still and our best keeps getting better thanks to the dedication, enthusiasm and commitment of our team and colleagues.
Situated in 23 acres of leafy grounds, Queen Mary’s College is an inclusive, vibrant and high achieving sixth form college with a fantastic reputation both locally and nationally. Value added data places us in the top 10% of all A- level providers.
The Business & Legal Studies Department consists of a modern suite of classrooms with smartboard projection facilities and a workroom with computers available for staff use. More than 500 students are currently studying Business and Economics courses. We have an excellent record of student achievement and staff work closely together to develop teaching materials and course planning. The Department also offers a range of enrichment opportunities for students, including Entrepreneurship, Business in Football and Personal Finance. There are regular visits to a range of businesses and guest speakers.
Whoever joins us as a Teacher of Business will teach a timetable of A ‘Level year r1 and year 2. Our priorities are to maintain and extend our examination success and to maintain high levels of student satisfaction and achievement. We seek to ensure that we provide students with a high-quality experience of learning that is innovative, interesting and challenging and helps them acquire the skills and knowledge essential for their progression. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher to join our outstanding team and be part of our friendly and supportive environment.
